Bio

george taylor mftMy own journey of healing has taken me to many teachers and practices, including  participation in men's groups, in body-oriented  psychotherapy, in  vipasanna meditation courses, and in recovery groups.

Through these healing modalities, I learned to be a happier, more secure person. I also learned that psychotherapy can be a profound spiritual and psychological healing process.

Now I have been licensed for almost 20 years, and still love working with people in my office, watching them grow and change:

I love it when couples learn to understand how they create their predictable, stressful conflicts, and when they learn to speak to each other with more consciousness and kindness.

I love it when men in my groups learn that they can let go of their defensiveness and protections and practice authentic vulnerable communications. They become better partners, fathers, and community members.

I love it when Debra, my wife of 30 years and a Spirit Rock Meditation Center teacher, and I present courses which teach people how relationship can become a path of awakening and healing.
